Each
people have different opinion like their looks. . The word “opinion” means that
is what they think or believe about something.
As human, all people have a right that they can claim their opinion if
their opinion is wrong or not for other people. Sharing opinion with other
people makes us to enlarge our experience and knowledge. My essay will range
over 3 blogger’s articles. I will compare my opinion with 3 bloggers’ opinion
on same topics on articles covering government intervention. The government step
into policewomen’s uniform in Russia in first article, life of human in second
article, and drinking habit in office in third article.
The
first article is “Russia Bans policewomen from wearing too short skirts.” from
Cho Hyun-Jae’s blog. His opinion is that Russia’s decision is right because
policeman should keep their looking clean and uniforms should be effective to
catch criminals. I can’t agree his opinion totally. The duty of policeman is
not only catching offender but also doing many things such as levying a fine of
the traffic regulations or other rules, and helping people to solve severe
problems in society. It’s okay that policewoman wear too short skirt on their
choice if they feel comfortable because skirt looks tidy and attractive. This
is same thing that stewardess who have lots of activities on their work in
flight wear skirts. Therefore, in my opinion, there is no need to ban
policewoman from wearing too short skirts. It is a matter of their choice.
Next,
I chose Seung hwan’s article about that Peruvian police and soldiers given
‘license to kill’ protesters 5 years after Bagua violence. Seung Hwan thinks the
behavior of government is incorrect because protest of native is very
reasonable. I am almost of a mind with Seung Hwan’s opinion, a little
difference of my opinion is that killing people is incorrect if their protest
is reasonable or ‘not’. Because the
government is made by people, government should provide security and peace for
all people. It is ironic that the government that should have to protect their
people uses armed force even killing their people. And in this world, no one
can have right to decide whether another human lives or dies like license to
kill.
Lastly,
I selected Da Sol’s topic about “France allows employers to ban wine in
offices”. From his writing, he supports decision of France because he thinks
drinking is bad and some regulations are needed to people to control amount of
drink. His opinion is contrary to my opinion. If they can drink, they are
adult, not child. Adults should have to face up their responsibilities. There
are no one drunken who know that if they cannot do good work, they will be
fired. Therefore the government intervention is not necessary whether they are
drunk or not, healthy or not, and mentally well-being or not in their office.
As
a conclusion, I can see that there are a lot of things happen around the world,
how people react, and there are many different opinions. I selected these three
articles because these are dealing with a common subject about the government
intervention. On these same articles, my opinion is dissimilar to Hyun Jae’s,
Seung Hwan’s, and Da Sol’s. In first article, Hyun Jae consent about banning
policewomen’s short skirt in Russia, but I do not consent because it is a
problem of policewomen’s choice. In second article, Seung Hwan’s opinion and my
opinion about giving license to kill are similar, with one difference that I am
totally opposed to kill people if they are wrong or not. And in last article,
Da Sol is favorable to banning wine in office but I am not because it is also
individual’s matter. I think the government intervention should be minimized
but their opinion is distinct. By sharing opinion with them, I can learn the
fact that other’s opinion cannot always same with my opinion.
